1. How long is this promotion and how do I earn AMperkz points? 

The AMperkz points are applicable to Agoda bookings made from 1 September to 31 December 2018 with stay period till 31 December 2018. 

Basic member: SGD$1 spent (excluding hotel tax and services charges) = 2 AMperkz points

Gold member: SGD$1 spent (excluding hotel tax and services charges) = 4 AMperkz points

2. Can I book via the Agoda website/app directly and still enjoy this promotion and earn points? 

To enjoy this promotion, all bookings must be made via the dedicated landing page at www.agoda.com/amperkz with a valid membership ID. Points earning are not eligible for bookings via the Agoda app.

3. Is this promotion applicable to worldwide destinations or selected only? 

Applicable to worldwide destinations.

4. Is this promotion applicable to all hotels found on Agoda? 

The Points are applicable to selected merchant (pre-paid) hotels only, with the ‘promo eligible’ tag, of which Agoda is the party receiving and handling the payment from the members.

5. When will I be receiving the AMperkz points in my account? 

The points will be credited to AMperkz members’ accounts after the 20th of the following month after they have completed from their hotel stays.

6. Can this promotion be combined with another promotion running on Agoda? 

Points will not be awarded to members who elect to use other discounts, promotions, discounted items and fixed price items (unless specified otherwise).

7. Will my points earned be calculated from the total cost of the room? 

The points earned are not inclusive of hotel tax and services charges. Where the points are earned on the basis of the amount spent, unless otherwise specified, the points are only earned on the accommodation component of the stay, not on ancillary charges such as meals, mini-bar, beverages, phone, laundry or other extra costs charged to the room account.

NTUC TIER:

1. What is the NTUC tier in AMperkz? 

NTUC tier in AMperkz allows members to earn 1.5 points for every S$1 spent (supermarket receipts earn 1.5 points for every $4 spent). Each receipt needs to be at least $20 in value to start earning points.

2. Who is eligible for the NTUC tier? 

An existing AMperkz member with a valid NTUC Union membership is eligible to register for NTUC tier.

3. I have an NTUC Union membership. How do I sign up for the NTUC tier? 

Firstly, you need to be an AMperkz member. Once you have signed up for an AMperkz membership, you can register for NTUC tier by going into the member profile in the AMperkz website. There will be a link for you to click on to upgrade to NTUC tier. In the AMperkz mobile app, you can upgrade at AMperkz rewards page. You can also upgrade at any Customer Service Counters across the 6 malls.

Please note you need a valid NTUC Union membership is eligible to register for NTUC tier. 

4. I have signed up for AMperkz and I have logged into the AMperkz app. However, I don’t see the link in the member profile section of the app to upgrade my AMperkz membership to the NTUC tier. 

NTUC tier upgrade feature is only available from version 3.0.4 and above of the AMperkz app. Please update the app to the latest version from the App Store for iPhones and Google Play for Androids.

Please note you need a valid NTUC Union membership is eligible to register for NTUC tier. 

5. How do I know if my NTUC tier registration is successful? 

When you register for the NTUC tier in the AMperkz member profile, you will be notified if it is successful. You can also see the NTUC tier in the Account section of the AMperkz app and AMperkz website.

6. I’m an NTUC Union member and I hold the NTUC Union card. However, when I tried to register for the NTUC tier, it says that my NTUC Union membership is invalid. 

You need to have a valid NTUC Union membership in order for your AMperkz membership to be upgraded to the NTUC tier. Please ensure that your NTUC Union membership is renewed promptly.

7. I want to be upgraded to the NTUC tier but I don’t have an NTUC Union membership. Where can I find out more information about the NTUC Union membership?

8. My AMperkz membership was previously in the NTUC tier but now I’m downgraded to Basic tier. What happened? 

AMperkz will check with NTUC Membership on the validity of the NTUC Union memberships. If your NTUC Union membership is found to be invalid during this monthly check, your AMperkz membership tier will be downgraded.

9. I was downgraded to Basic tier from Gold Tier and I want to reinstate my NTUC tier. What should I do? 

To reinstate NTUC tier in your AMperkz membership, please ensure that your NTUC Union membership is valid. After that, log in to your AMperkz account to access your member profile in the AMperkz app or AMperkz website and upgrade to NTUC tier again. You can also upgrade at any Customer Service Counters across the 6 Malls.

10. How long can I get to keep the NTUC tier in my AMperkz membership? 

You can keep the NTUC tier in your AMperkz membership as long as you ensure that your NTUC Union membership is renewed promptly.

11. I’m a Plus! member with the black and yellow card. Why can’t I upgrade to the NTUC tier? 

If you are issued with the black and yellow Plus! card, you are not eligible to the NTUC tier. Only members with the silver NTUC Union cards are eligible.

12. I’m already a Gold tier member. Should I still register as an NTUC tier member? 

Yes, you should. In the event you do not qualify for the renewal of the Gold tier, you will be downgraded to the NTUC tier instead of Basic.

13. Can NTUC tier members still get promoted to the Gold tier? 

Yes, if they qualify for it, which is to spend $8,000 within 12 months.

14. I’m an NTUC tier member and I submitted a $25 receipt. How many points will I receive? 

If you submit a $25 receipt, you will receive 37 points. Points are rounded down to the nearest whole number.

15. Is the NTUC tier free of charge? 

Yes, you don’t need to pay to register for AMperkz NTUC tier. However, the NTUC Union membership is chargeable.

16. I want to use another person’s NTUC Union membership to upgrade my AMperkz membership tier. Can I do this? 

No, you can only upgrade your AMperkz membership using your own NTUC Union membership.

17. I just upgraded my AMperkz membership to the NTUC tier. When can I start earning 1.5 points for every $1 spent? 

You can start earning 1.5 points for every $1 spent for receipts submitted after you have upgraded to the NTUC tier. Receipts submitted before NTUC tier upgrade will not be eligible.
