TERMS & CONDITIONS
The AMperkz Rewards Programme (“Programme”) is a rewards programme managed by AsiaMalls Management Pte Ltd (“AsiaMalls”) for and on behalf of Century Square Holding Pte Ltd, ARMF (TBP) Pte Ltd, ARMF (Hougang Mall) Pte Ltd, ARMF (Whitesands) Pte Ltd, ARMF II (Liang Court) Pte Ltd and ARMF II (Tampines) Pte Ltd (individually “Mall”, collectively “Malls”) allowing members to earn and redeem points and rewards at the Malls.
The Programme shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). By submitting an application for the Programme and participating in it, you agree to all the Terms and Conditions set forth herein, including any amendments to these Terms and Conditions that AsiaMalls may make at AsiaMalls’ sole discretion from time to time. By your continued participation in the Programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:
1.1. All applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age at the time of application for membership with the Programme.
1.2. In order to be eligible for membership, the applicant must have a valid local mobile number as a one-time pin will be sent to the number for verification.
1.3. The applicant may apply for membership via the following ways: i) the AMperkz website, ii) via the AMperkz app, and iii) at the Customer Service Counter of any of the Malls.
1.4. At the point of registration, the applicant must provide his current and accurate personal particulars as requested: i) name, ii) date of birth, iii) gender, iv) mobile number, v) postal code, and vi) email address (optional if application is at Customer Service Counter).
1.5. The applicant may at his option also provide his mailing address, and choose to opt-in for communications from AsiaMalls and/or the Malls via email, SMS or post. When applying for membership through the AMperkz website, you may indicate your preferred store categories when requested to do so.
2.1. Each member will be issued with one (1) membership account. Points and rewards earned under this membership account are non-transferable.
2.2. All memberships will start from the date of membership activation upon AsiaMalls’ processing of your application details.
2.3. Members enjoy a lifetime membership for the Programme. However, AsiaMalls reserves the right to set a fixed membership period or expiry period for membership at any time. AsiaMalls reserves the right to cancel or amend the Programme as it sees fit.
2.4. Members will be classified into the following two (2) membership tiers: i) Basic or ii) Gold. Members in the Gold tier enjoy enhanced points. Please refer to section 3 on Points below.
2.5. Members may also be tagged to a Partner Tag should they hold valid partners’ membership and they may enjoy enhanced points / benefits during a stipulated period. Each member may be tagged to more than one (1) Partner Tag but only 1 type of Partner Tag may be used upon utilisation of the enhanced points / benefits. Enhanced points / benefits are governed by the respective campaigns’ terms and conditions.
2.6. Members in the Basic tier can get upgraded to the Gold tier if they accumulate S$8,000 or more within a period of twelve (12) months or less. Members in the Gold tier must continue to accumulate S$8,000 in the subsequent twelve (12) months after their membership had been upgraded to continue their Gold membership status. In the event the Gold tier member failed to accumulate S$8,000 or more in the twelve (12) months after his membership had been upgraded and/or renewed at the Gold tier, his membership will automatically revert to the Basic tier.
2.7. Members who qualify for Gold tier will be upgraded when their last transaction receipt that fulfils the required accumulated S$8,000 spend has been approved. For example, if a member spends S$8,000 from 1 January 2018 to 30 June 2018, he will be promoted to the Gold tier on 1 July 2018.
2.8. AsiaMalls reserves the right to terminate memberships for breach of the Terms and Conditions.
3.1. Members may earn reward points for purchases made at participating retailers at the Malls. You may find a list of participating retailers at the AMperkz website. You may also seek assistance at the Customer Service Counters at the Malls.
3.2. The member may earn reward points by submitting an image of the receipt of a purchase made at a participating retailer on the AMperkz App or on the AMperkz website. Members can also submit their receipts at the Customer Service Counter.
3.3. Any receipt submitted to earn reward points must show the following details: i) shop name, ii) mall name, iii) unit number, iv) purchase amount (minimum S$20), v) receipt number, and vi) receipt date and time. Receipts longer than 30 cm should be shortened by folding the receipt without blocking any of the details that are required for submission stated in this clause. Any image of the receipt should be clear and easily readable. AsiaMalls reserves the right not to award reward points in the event that the receipt image is unclear or incomplete. Any decision on the validity of the receipt submitted is at AsiaMalls’ sole discretion, and any such decision by AsiaMalls shall be considered final, conclusive and binding by you.
3.4. Submission of the receipt must be no later than the following day of the date the receipt was issued. The reward points may take up to 5 working days to process. An email or notification via the AMperkz App may be sent to the member when the reward points are awarded. You may also check the AMperkz website or the AMperkz app on the number of reward points awarded.
3.5. Original proof of purchase that has been submitted for reward points cannot be used to earn reward points again. Members should keep proof of the purchase for a minimum of 5 working days or until when the reward points have been awarded to their membership account.
3.6. Any receipt presented or submitted for reward points must be issued from the member’s own purchases. AsiaMalls reserves the right to terminate the membership immediately and without prior notice if a member is found to submit another person’s receipt(s) to earn reward points on his membership account.
3.7. Basic tier members will earn 1 reward point for every $1 spent in a single transaction and 1 reward point for every $4 spent at supermarkets. Gold tier members will earn 2 reward points for every $1 spent in a single transaction and 2 reward points for every $4 spent at supermarkets. Each transaction must be at least S$20 nett to earn reward points.
3.8. During the member’s birthday month (1st to the last day of the month), members will earn double reward points as set out in clause 3.7 above. This means that Basic tier members will earn 2 reward points for every $1 spent except for supermarket purchases, for which Basic tier members will earn 2 reward points for every $4 spent. Gold tier members will earn 4 points for every $1 spent except for supermarket purchases, for which Gold tier members will earn 4 reward points for every $4 spent.
3.9. Members may earn up to a maximum of 1,000 reward points per day for Basic tier members and a maximum of 2,000 reward points per day for Gold tier members.
3.10. NTUC partner tag members will earn 1.5 reward points for every $1 spent in a single transaction and 1.5 reward points for every $4 spent at supermarkets. Each transaction must be at least S$20 nett to earn reward points. During the member’s birthday month, NTUC partner tag members will earn 3 reward points for every $1 spent except for supermarket purchases, for which they will earn 3 reward points for every $4 spent. NTUC partner tag members can earn up to a maximum of 1,500 points per day. Members of this tier will enjoy 1.5X points accumulation till 31 July 2019.
3.11. All reward points earned in one calendar year will expire on 30 June of the following year, e.g. all reward points earned in 2018 will expire on 30 June 2019. AsiaMalls will endeavour to notify the member of his expiring reward points prior to the expiry date. Any reward point will automatically expire or be forfeited upon the expiry date regardless of whether the member has received prior notice.
3.12. Reward points may be cancelled, deleted or deducted at AsiaMalls’ sole discretion. AsiaMalls may delay for as long as necessary confirmation process for reward points, which may be earned in breach of the Terms and Conditions or through an abuse of the Programme.
4.1. Only reward points which have been duly processed and awarded by AsiaMalls may be redeemed.
4.2. Upon cumulating reward points, members may be eligible for various rewards, such as gift vouchers and Carpark$. The rewards and the number of reward points required for redemption are indicated on the AMperkz website and AMperkz app. The number of reward points required for redeeming rewards will be decided at AsiaMalls’ sole discretion and may be amended from time to time without any prior notice. Redemption of rewards are always subject to availability.
4.3. Members may redeem the reward points for rewards set out in clause 4.2
i) For AsiaMalls gift vouchers – AMperkz app or at any Customer Service Counters;
ii) For Carpark$ – AMperkz app only.
4.4. AsiaMalls gift vouchers redeemed in exchange for reward points will have a six (6) month validity period. Carpark$ redeemed this year will expire on 30 June the following year.
4.5. Redemption once completed cannot be refunded and rewards issued cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items.
5.1. The AMperkz App is only supported on Apple iOS 8.0 or above, or Android 4.4 or above.
5.2. Your use of the AMperkz App should be in accordance with any specific instructions that may be provided.
5.3. The AMperkz App will use the location services available in your smartphone. When the smartphone detects that you are within close proximity to any of the Malls, the AMperkz App may send a push notification to you via the AMperkz App. You may disable this feature by adjusting the location settings on your smartphone.
5.4. The AMperkz App allows you to access a variety of lifestyle functions as a member. This includes viewing and making payment for certain products from the Malls, viewing parking lot availability information, and many more. AsiaMalls reserves the right to amend, add or delete any function available under the AMperkz App at any time and at its sole discretion.
6.1. We are not responsible for any error, omission, delay or loss of reward points as a result of technical malfunction or any error attributed to the AMperkz App, the AMperkz website and any of AsiaMalls’ and the Malls’ staff, employee, agents or service providers.
6.2. AsiaMalls reserves the right to take any corrective, remedial or preventive actions to any member and his membership account as it deems fit to ensure the continued operation of the Programme and/or the protect the interests of other members.
6.3. AsiaMalls has sole discretion to add, edit or cancel the Programme from time to time as it deems fit. AsiaMalls’ decision on all matters regarding the Programme shall be final and conclusive.
6.4. Any reward point accrued in your account remains our property. The reward points do not entitle any member to a vested right or interest and have no cash value. The reward points are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable between members. Any reward points or membership accounts involved in transfer, sale or assignment of accumulated reward points may be cancelled by us.
6.5. Notwithstanding and without prejudice to any other terms in the Terms and Conditions, we have sole discretion to suspend or terminate your membership entirely without prior notice for any reason whatsoever as we deem fit, regardless of whether you are in breach of the Terms and Conditions.
7. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
7.1. To the extent permitted by law, we hereby disclaim any and all warranties, representations or statements made or given by employees, staff, agents and/or service providers of AsiaMalls and the Malls. The member shall waive all claims against AsiaMalls or any of the Malls arising from such disputes.
7.2. Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions, AsiaMalls and the Malls shall not be liable for any loss, damage, embarrassment, inconvenience, cost or expense of any nature (including without limitation for any act, omission, neglect or breach on the part of their agents, contractors, employees and staff) arising out of or in connection with the Programme in any way that may be suffered or incurred by the member or any other person
8. DATA PROTECTION
8.1. You hereby acknowledge and consent to collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data in relation to the membership. We may collect the following personal data:
- Your name, date of birth, gender, contact number, postal code, email address, mailing address, interests in store categories, credit card and transaction details, images of receipts, other information provided by you, including feedback and queries, to AsiaMalls, any Mall, and the staff, employee, agent, service provider, tenant, participating retailers, business partner and affiliates of AsiaMalls and any Mall;
- Any personal data that may be collected in relation to your participation and interaction in relation to products, services, promotions and events under the Programme;
- Any personal data that may be collected such as photographs and video recordings taken as part of promotions or events run for members as part of the Programme at any Mall;
- Information in relation to your use of the AMperkz App and AMperkz website, such as geographical information, IP addresses, mobile device information, application version number, traffic, cookies and other similar technologies, statistics on page views and views;
- Purchase history, frequency and description of items purchased as can be seen on the images of receipts submitted; and
- Geolocation data based on the location settings on your smartphone.
8.2. The purposes for which we may collect, use and/or disclose your personal data, in Singapore and overseas, are as follows:
- Processing your membership application and managing your membership, account and interactions in relation to the Programme;
- Administering, managing, developing, improving and reviewing the Programme;
- Responding to your queries, requests, feedback and complaints;
- Providing notices, updates or alerts in relation to reward points, including redemption, collection, cancellation or expiry, and your participation in the Programme;
- Managing business operations of AsiaMalls, the Malls and its affiliates and related entities;
- Managing the AMperkz App, AMperkz website, our related partners and service providers which provide us with technical and back-end support in relation to administering the Programme;
- Conducting consumer and market related research, analyzing customer preferences and demographics for AsiaMalls and its affiliates and related parties, and to review, develop and improve products, services, and features and processes of the Programme;
- Providing notices or updates under these Terms and Conditions;
- Protecting, investigating and enforcing our contractual rights, including investigating potential breach by any individual or company;
- Complying with applicable law, regulations and internal policies and assisting any regulatory authorities with investigations.
8.3. You also acknowledge and agree that we may provide you with promotional materials, newsletters and related marketing materials via email and push notifications. These messages and materials may be customised to better suit your needs and interests based on information on your preferences or past purchase records. We may also provide you with promotional materials, newsletters, invitation and details to member events or promotional booths, related marketing materials from our affiliates, related partners, service providers, tenants, participating retailers and other third parties. You also agree to AsiaMalls’ use and/or disclosure of personal data for organising, administering and conducting promotional events as part of the Programme, matching your personal data with other data collected for other purposes and from other third party sources in connection with provision or offering of products and services, whether by AsiaMalls, any Mall, and their affiliates and related parties. Please note that you may withdraw your consent via any unsubscribe mechanisms provided or by contacting us.
8.4. Where you have specifically provided us with consent, you agree that we may use and/or disclose your phone numbers for the purposes set out above in paragraph 8.3 via voice, SMS/MMS or fax messages.
8.5. You represent and warrant that all information provided by you in connection with your application and membership are true, accurate and up to date.
8.6. You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data by providing written notice to us. You agree and acknowledge that if you withdraw your consent to collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data, we may not be able to provide and administer your application, membership and/or reward points and redemption provided under the Programme. Upon such withdrawal of consent, your membership and privileges under the Programme will terminate upon thirty (30) days after formal acknowledgment of your withdrawal of consent by us. Upon termination, AsiaMalls shall be fully released from any obligations under this Agreement.
8.7. We may at our sole discretion share aggregated, non-personal data with third parties, including but not limited to affiliates, related partners, marketing and advertising partners, tenants and participating retailers, and any other third party.

10.1. You shall indemnify us against any loss, damage, liability, cost and expenses (including legal costs and disbursements on a full indemnity basis), directly or indirectly arising from or relating to your misuse of the membership and/or breach of any of the Terms and Conditions, including without limitation, your committing any fraud and/or misrepresentation in relation to your membership, and your rights and obligations and any information under these Terms and Conditions.
11.1. Governing law. These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of Singapore. The member hereby submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
11.2. Waiver. A failure to exercise any right or remedy by AsiaMalls in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or remedy.
11.3. Severability. Each of these Terms and Conditions is severable and distinct from one another. If at any time, any one or more of these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, such term or condition shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of these Terms and Conditions, and the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected in any way.
11.4. Amendment. We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. By your continued participation in the Programme, you agree to the amended Terms and Conditions.
11.5. Rights of Third Parties. These Terms and Conditions are not intended to confer any rights to a third party to enforce any of the terms. The Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) is hereby excluded.
11.6. Assignment. AsiaMalls may transfer its rights and obligations, in whole or in part, in relation to the Programme to any other person or entity without prior notice or consent of members.
11.7 Entire Agreement. This Agreement supersedes all prior writings, consents, and discussions made hereto, and constitutes the whole Agreement existing between AsiaMalls and you.
